Qatar Charity (QC) has signed an agreement with AlJaber Group, as part of its partnership and cooperation in the fields of humanitarian and community work, welcoming the group to its Charity Partner (CP) programme. The group was awarded the CP trademark in the Gold category within the framework of QC’s social responsibility programmes.
The agreement was signed by Abdulaziz Hussin Al Saadi, director of the Marketing and Digital Growth Department at QC, on behalf of Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, CEO’s assistant for the Resources Development and Media sector at QC, and Mohammed Sultan Mohammed Jaber Al Jaber, chairman of AlJaber Group.
The agreement was part of the AlJaber Group’s keenness to participate in the programmes and activities organised by QC.
Yousef Fakhroo expressed his happiness with Al Jaber group joining the CP programme and obtaining its CP trademark, which is the world’s first certificate in the field of humanitarian work and is granted to companies and commercial bodies within the framework of social responsibility.
Fakhroo also underlined QC’s keenness to develop the system of community partnership and promote the principle of humanitarian work for the joint efforts in support of vulnerable communities. He urged all the companies in the country to join the programme to contribute to taking the community development to the next level.
Mohammed Sultan Mohammed Jaber Al Jaber expressed the group’s pride in signing the CP agreement with QC for the community service and humanitarian causes. He noted that this agreement comes as part of the group’s firm belief in its social responsibility towards the community.
It is worth mentioning that CP, a special trademark, is awarded by QC to various companies and commercial bodies under strategic partnerships, according to different conditions, to support the projects implemented by the charity globally. CP shows the commitment of these bodies to their responsibilities towards the community.
