Built on an area of 517,376 square metres, the Bu Sulba logistics hub was developed by the Gulf Warehousing Company.
Chairman of the MEC technical committee for encouraging private sector participation HE Mohammed Hassan al Saadi said the GWC Bu Sulba Warehousing Park will contribute to the economic growth in general and logistics sector in particular. The project will offer a variety of storage options including dry, cool, chilled and frozen as well as storage services at competitive prices, he added.
Saadi said the storage areas will be available at a competitive rate for the benefit of small and medium-sized companies as the warehouses at the GWC Bu Sulba Warehousing Park will be available with varying spaces and diverse global specifications and will bridge the gap between supply and demand in the warehouses market.
The park will contribute to reduction in"cost of goods" as it will offer warehouse spaces at good prices. It will also create more job opportunities and enhance the competitiveness of companies and the national economy in general.
GWC Chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Fahad bin Jassem bin Jabor al Thani said,"The GWC Bu Sulba Warehousing Park project is a direct result of the company's involvement in the logistics services sector and the government's desire to support small and medium-sized companies and provide them with flexible storage solutions."
