The slogan of the event was ‘Our unity is our source of strength’, spreading the message of unity, triumph and charity. The Year of Millets 2023 was also celebrated as part of the programme.

The event began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a plethora of cultural events showcasing the vivid culture of Qatari people, which included speech in Arabic, Arabic dance and Arabic song, presented with immense zeal and fervour.

The food festival, organized by the Qatar History Department, was inaugurated by MC Mohammed, cultural director at MESIS Governing Board, accompanied by Principal Pramila Kannan.

To infuse the spirit of charity and benevolence, students and their parents were motivated to participate in the food festival and donate for charity. Parents and students took part in the event by bringing food of Qatari cuisine and food made of millets to celebrate the Year of Millets 2023.

The students participated enthusiastically and the food festival was a grand success. The money generated from the food festival will be donated to Qatar Charity. The contribution, efforts and sacrifice of parents and students were appreciated by all.
