Qatar participated in the inauguration ceremony of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva as president of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Minister of State HE Sheikh Fahad bin Faisal Al Thani represented Qatar at the ceremony. The Brazilian president met with the minister who conveyed HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani’s greetings to the president, wishing him success and the relations between the two countries continued progress and development. The Brazilian president entrusted the minister to convey his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him the best of health and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity. The president also praised the impressive success of Qatar in organising the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. (QNA)
