The country is likely to witness moderate to heavy rains in most areas from Thursday until Saturday, according to Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD).
“It is expected that the cloudy weather will continue, and there are chances for moderate to heavy rains in most areas from Thursday until Saturday. It will be thundery at times, due to the deepening of the low pressure over the Arabian Peninsula,” the QMD said in a tweet.
It said winds will bemainly northwesterly with strong sudden winds during thunder rain. As for temperatures, the maximum during this period ranges between 19-23 degrees C and the minimum between 15 and 17 degrees C.
