The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), represented by academic sector of private schools and nurseries, held a remote panel of discussion both in English and Arabic under the title ‘Creativity in implementing values activities’.
The panel discussion, which came as part of the second phase of ‘My Values Draw My Identity’ for private schools’ principals and supervisors in charge of executing the project, discussed the mechanisms of implementing the targeted activities in a creative manner and to raise reports supported with evidence of implementing the activities and their values.
The session also discussed keynotes and recommendations of private schools and kindergartens, as well as relevant distinguished practices as means of exchanging expertise and spreading competitiveness spirit. Arabic language guidance consultant and acting director of the academic sector of private schools and nurseries Intisar Al Muhannadi commended the role and enthusiasm shown by all private schools and kindergartens in activating the project’s values, which was launched in the 2021-2021 academic year, through implementing various activities for different school age groups under ‘My Values Draw My Identity’ project.
Muhannadi noted the efforts of the private schools during the distinguished and full of Qatari achievements first academic semester of the academic year 2022-2023.
She also talked about the quality of the interactive activities and competitions that targeted the largest possible segment of private schools and kindergartens students, which contributed to building educational values and enhancing positive behaviours through interesting content, which includes awareness, educational and cultural components.
She stressed the importance of motivating students and the school community to enhance their creativity and enable them to acquire values that reflect in their behaviour and interaction with others.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) launched ‘My Values Draw My Identity’ project to promote the national identity and Qatari culture in private schools and kindergartens in the 2021-2022 academic year.
