Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met with Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed, who is visiting the country.
During the meeting, they reviewed developments in Afghanistan and discussed coordination of efforts between Qatar and the United Nations in Afghanistan.
The FM affirmed Qatar’s commitment to support the brotherly Afghan people in light of the difficult humanitarian crises conditions from which they suffer, stressing the importance of multilateral action led by the United Nations agencies to alleviate their conditions.
