A team from Bhavan’s Public School Doha comprising Adithya Ajith Pillai and Ayan Mohammed Najeeb have done the school proud by securing the first position in the Senior Category of the SIF Qatar Children’s Science Congress conducted by Science India Forum (SIF) Qatar, under the patronage of the Indian Embassy in Qatar. The theme of the project was ‘Understanding Ecosystem for Health and Well-being’.

Arunkumar Sampathu and teachers of the science department guided the young researchers to achieve this milestone. A total of 164 teams from 19 schools participated in the QCSC-2022 Contest and underwent three rounds of evaluation. The project evaluations were conducted by a team of scientists, professionals and technocrats. A total of 49 teams were shortlisted for the third round of the competition and Bhavan’s team won first place in the Senior Category.

The winners of Bhavan’s are also chosen for the National children’s Science Congress in India to display their project to represent Indian Schools from Qatar. The school is fully in support to nourish the scientific temper of its students. The principal, teachers and management have congratulated the winners for their priceless achievements.
