DPS-Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) organised ‘School Safety Day’ on January 19 to brief students on major safety concerns and highlight the collective responsibility of all to ensure a safe learning environment.
During the morning prayer session, the entire school took a pledge and promised to assert safety in day-to-day life. A special assembly was conducted by the students of Grade IV stressing the importance of safety at every step of life.
The students of grades I and II were involved in colouring activity which aimed to educate them on safety measures at all levels.
Vice-Principal Junior School Shifa Shaikh addressed the students and shared valuable safety guidelines.
Altogether, it was a day packed with learning activities for the children and they went back home with a conviction that ‘safety rules are the best tools’.
