President of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), Engineer Abdulrahman Al Farahid Al Malki, on Sunday awarded certificates and trophies to the entities and partners who worked with the agency during the year 2022 in appreciation of their efforts and dedication.

Engineer Al Malki said: “The Agency, since the very beginning of its establishment, focused on achieving its goals one after the other through intensified efforts between the agency and its partners from different sectors.”

Hard work and dedication, he said, were the basis of the agency’s collaboration with its partners to fulfil the agency’s mission in securing the nation’s cyber space. He added that during FIFA World Cup- Qatar 2022, the agency witnessed exceptional work and great efforts from its employees and partners “as we developed accurate and rapid plans and mechanisms to confront any danger facing various entities during FIFA World Cup 2022, including sports facilities and critical entities”.

Al Malki pointed out that FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 was an exceptional championship, emphasizing the Agency’s ability in achieving its ultimate goal which was the protection of the nation’s cyber space before, during and after the championship.

Furthermore, the president of the National Cyber Security Agency extended his thanks and appreciation to the various entities and partners for their continuous efforts and cooperation with the Agency. He also handed certificates of appreciation and the Agency’s trophies to the following companies: EY, GBM, IBM, KPMG, Palantir, Malomatia, AlMannai, Mandiant, Deloitte and Microsoft.

Following the award ceremony, representatives of the companies expressed their thanks to the president of the National Cyber Security Agency for all the efforts in protecting the nation’s cyber space. They also expressed their full commitment to supporting the State of Qatar in securing its cyber space.
