The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) participated in the national Capture-the-Flag (CtF) competition (CtF World Cup Edition), organised by the KINDI Centre for Computing Research at Qatar University College of Engineering to enable students to find solutions to cybersecurity challenges and propose proper solutions for this type of challenges through practical experiences.

Through its participation, the NCSA aims to promote a culture of cybersecurity among students in the country, and encourage students and youth initiatives aimed at enhancing cyber capabilities and developing skills among university students.

Director of KINDI Centre for Computing Research at College of Engineering Dr Abdulaziz Khalid Al Ali said the competition aimed at security capacity building, security education, development of cyber capabilities, development of cyber resilience and cyber security competence assessment.

For her part, Head of the National Cyber Excellence Department at NCSA Dalal Al Aqidi said the NCSA’s participation stems from its continuous role in promoting students, youths and educational initiatives organised by KINDI Centre.
