TWO medical camps were held for workers in Asian Town recently.
The first was organised by Atlas Poly Clinic, and IbnAjayan Projects organised inside Plaza Mall in Asian Town while the second camp was held by Indian Doctors' Club, an Indian medical association in Qatar with the support of IbnAjayan Projects.
Both the camps benefited many workers residing in the Industrial Area.
The medical camp organised by Indian Doctors' Club was held in the Cricket Stadium Complex in Asian Town.
The beneficiaries underwent blood pressure check, blood sugar test and BMI.
Indian Doctors' Club is an association of healthcare professional from India. The group conducts regular free medical camps for the general public, health awareness lectures for organisations and promotes health issues awareness in Qatar.
The regular medical camp in Plaza Mall held by IbnAjayan Projects and Atlas Poly Clinic was the seventh free medical camp. This regular medical checkup is scheduled on first Thursday of every month from 4pm to 9pm.
The medical team from Atlas Poly Clinic regularly offers a free checkup of blood pressure and sugar. It also gives medical advice according to the results of the camp attendees.
