To provide parents-to-be with comprehensive pre-birth and post-birth care, Aster DM Healthcare, one of the largest private healthcare networks in Qatar, has launched ‘Aster Nurture’. Aster DM Healthcare operates five medical centres and one multi-speciality hospital in the country.
As the name suggests, Aster Nurture is a programme that aims at nurturing, caring and protecting the mother and the new born baby from the time when the mother conceives till birth and beyond.
In a press statement the company said: “We bring to you a special discount price on our maternity packages especially for expatriate moms-to be who are unable to travel to their home countries for this special time in their lives.
“Our promise at Aster Hospitals & Clinics is to make you feel as comfortable and special as you would be with your support system back home,” the statement added.
The Aster Nurture programme provides an array of services for couples before and after childbirth. These include:
Obstetric care: Prenatal check-ups, ultrasound scans, prenatal testing, delivery, and postpartum care.
Gynaecological care: Prenatal counselling, well-woman exams and treatment for associated gynaecological conditions during pre and postnatal period.
Maternal-foetal medicine: High-risk pregnancy management, including prenatal diagnosis and treatment for complicated pregnancies.
Neonatal care: New-born care, neonatal care for premature or sick infants.
Labour and delivery services: Normal delivery, epidural, pain management options, and caesarean delivery.
Family planning services: Contraceptive counselling and education on family planning options.
Reproductive endocrinology and infertility services: diagnosis and treatment of infertility.
Lactation support: breastfeeding education and support.
Couples now have access to high-quality medical treatment without worry about high costs or lack of availability due to geographic location — thanks to the remarkable programme, the statement added.
