His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Tuesday inaugurated the Mohammed Bin Ghanem Al Ghanem Maritime Academy at Al Shamal region.
HH the Amir turned the helm, signaling the opening by His Highness, and listened to an explanation about the building’s units and its various modern facilities and equipment, such as the search and rescue building and the damage inventory building.
During his tour, HH the Amir was briefed on the latest technological means in the education and scientific development used in the academy.
HH the Amir was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Staff HE Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Commander of Mohammed Bin Ghanem Al Ghanem Maritime Academy HE Rear Admiral Khalid bin Nasser Al Hajri, several security leaders, and senior officials.
