His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani patronised the graduation ceremony of the 18th batch of cadets of Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College, at the college’s headquarters on Thursday morning.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, and a number of sheikhs and ministers.

The ceremony was also attended by leaderships of security, military and university colleges, institutes and academies in brotherly and friendly countries, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the state, officers of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Interior, the Amiri Guard, the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), the State Security, and guardians of the graduates.

The national anthem was played at the beginning of the ceremony.

Then the commander of the graduates’ queue came forward requesting HH the Amir to inspect the queue of the 250 graduates from Qatar, Kuwait and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

After the march of the graduates’ queue and the military parade, HH the Amir honoured 11 outstanding graduates.

After that, the flag was handed over from the 18th batch to the 19th batch, and the appointment order was read out. At the end of the ceremony, officers of the 18th batch took the oath and recited the College anthem.
