Ambassador of Turkey to Qatar HE Mustafa Goksu has appealed to the generous people of Qatar for sending aid and donations for the earthquake victims.

He appealed to the Qatari people for their noble support in cash through Qatar National Bank Account and through Qatar Red Crescent for the earthquake victims. The Turkish envoy paid gratitude to the government, institutions and people of Qatar for swiftly sending relief materials and aid for thousands of people affected by the deadly earthquake.

The Turkish envoy paid his sincere thanks to all those, including dignitaries, diplomats, officials, and members of the Qatar community who personally visited the Embassy of Turkey and offered their condolence through emails and telephonic messages.

He called upon the people to pack unused winter clothing separately for children, women and men and to write clearly on each carton. Among other urgent required items include tent, bed, mattress, blanket, sleeping bag, scuba catalytic stove, heater and tube, thermos, flashlight, power bank, generator, canned food box, child food, diapers, sanitary and hygiene kit.

The materials can be delivered to The Turkish Cultural Center Doha (Doha Yunus Emre Institute) at Zone No 66, Street 813, Building 118, Al Dafna.

Diplomats, dignitaries, government officials and members of the Qatari society visited Turkish embassy during the two-day of condolence. A condolence book was kept for two days (Feb and 9) at the embassy of Turkey.
