Fifty One East, Qatar's favourite department store, has announced three years' sponsorship to the Young Qatari Designers' initiative at Doha Jewellery& Watches Exhibition (DJWE), taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
As part of the sponsorship, Fifty One East will showcase the exquisite and bespoke jewellery collections of Doha's finest young designers.
It is part of their commitment to nurture the talent of Qatari youth who are creating their jewellery collections inspired by traditional techniques and unique craftsmanship handed down through generations, preserving signature Qatari artistry.
Bader Abdullah alDarwish, chairman and managing director of Darwish Holding, expressed his delight to help Qatar's brightest artisans, commenting:"We are proud to stand hand-in-hand with the Young Qatari Designers initiative. The younger generation is the future of our nation, and the ones who will build upon our ancestors' heritage and steer our country forward."
The young Qatari designers exhibiting at DJWE 2017 are: Noor al Fardan, Nada al Sulaiti, Sarah al Hammadi, Nouf al Meer, Fajr al Attiya and Ghada Albuainain. (TNN)
