Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani participated in the activities of the World Government Summit 2023, which was organised by the United Arab Emirates under the theme ‘Foreseeing Future Governments’ from 13-15 February 2023 in Dubai.
The summit brought together a distinguished group of state leaders, heads of government, ministers, senior officials, decision-makers, thought leaders, and specialists in commercial, industrial, investment, and economic affairs from around the globe.
During the summit, the minister attended a number of main sessions, including high-level and specialised dialogue sessions. Additionally, the minister met with Tunisian Prime Minister Najla Bouden Romdhane and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, officials touched on the bilateral relations between Qatar and Tunisia and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields such as trade, investment, and different industries, all while exchanging views on the summit’sagenda topics.
The minister highlighted the successful economic policies Qatar has put in place to support the private sector and pointed out the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that are aimed at encouraging investors, businessmen, and business owners to invest in Qatar.
