The 11th edition of the Halal Qatar Festival was decorated in the southern square of Katara, with arts and heritage aesthetics, from the works of several female plastic artists who are inspired by the "Halal" heritage with visions and contemporary artistic methods, within the framework of the cultural and artistic events accompanying the festival, which include a studio and a plastic and visual arts competition.
Plastic artist Maryam Al Mulla explained that she is participating for the third time in the cultural events accompanying the Halal Qatar Festival, including a 'studio' and a competition, because it represents an addition to the artist's expertise, experience and relationship with the art fans and the festival.
Al Mulla indicated that she chose "The Camel" as the theme for her painting, because it represents a source of inspiration for her, as it reflects the meanings of patience and endurance, in addition to its historical role in travel and carrying baggage, which makes it a symbol of authentic heritage.
For her part, artist Amira Radhi said that her participation in the ceremony and competition of the 11th edition of the Halal Qatar Festival followed her participation in the cultural events accompanying the third edition of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival, this February, which includes experimenting with new artistic methods that deal with the social and cultural heritage that the festival reflects by employing modern methods of painting, to blend in the painting the aesthetics of abstraction and realistic style, and to highlight her own style in dealing with lines and shadows.
