Al Mana Holding has become the Qatar franchisee for the popular London-based organic coffee and freshly made food brand, Pret A Manger.

One PM Holding, the Master Franchisee company for Pret A Manger Kuwait, Saudi, and Qatar, has granted the sub-franchising rights to Al Mana Holding in Qatar.

The franchise partnership was signed at a press conference at the Salwa Road headquarters of Al Mana Holding and marks another step in Pret’s growth in the Middle East.

The event was attended by British Ambassador to Qatar HE Jonathan Wilks, where Abdurahman Hamad Al Mana, Deputy CEO; Hamad Al-Sayer, Chairman of One PM Franchising; Nabil Al-Ghoul. General Manager of One PM Franchising and Eira Jarvis, Managing Director of Pret A Manger Asia addressed the esteemed guests and members of media.

Al Mana Holding, which represents some of the world’s largest and most successful brands, is a Qatari conglomerate operating over 55 companies in eight countries and employing over 3500 personnel across a wide range of sectors including retail and food and beverage.

Al Mana Holding Deputy CEO Abdulrahman Hamad Al Mana said, "We’re thrilled to partner with One PM holding to bring Pret A Manger the iconic British food and coffee brand to Qatar, and look forward to launching and expanding its presence in the Qatari market. We are confident we can bring Pret to more people through their freshly made food and organic coffee offering.’

On his part, One PM Holding Chairman Hamad AL-Sayer spoke of the Group’s efforts to expand in the region.
