With the objective of sharing insights into the rapidly developing world of the metaverse, elev8, a global learning partner in providing digital skill solutions and transformative education, hosted recently an engaging webinar on ‘Metaverse in the Middle East: Business Applications & Opportunities’.

Covering the future frontiers of the metaverse, the webinar detailed the growth of the digital technology, case studies of organisations successfully capitalising upon the metaverse’s features and practical ways in which businesses can implement the solution to create withstanding value.

elev8’s hosting of Metaverse in the Middle East is an extension of the organisation’s mission to help large enterprises and governments upskill their workforce and proactively utilise the latest, cutting-edge digital technologies.

Lasse Rouhiainen, a best-selling author and international expert on the metaverse, artificial intelligence and disruptive technologies, led the webinar, identifying the metaverse’s limitless potential for growth.

Rouhiainen, who has given keynote presentations and conducted seminars in more than 16 countries across the world, also explained the metaverse’s ability to improve efficiency in a variety of sectors. Rouhiainen also discussed the requirement for upskilling and recruiting to close skills gaps in preparation for a future-ready metaverse workplace.

Metaverse in the Middle East was attended by more than 55 participants working in a variety of sectors across Qatar, including finance, telecommunications, oil and gas, education, construction and public ministries, in addition to developers, system administrators, analysts, digital engineers, project managers, and senior business officials all attending the webinar. Participants were able to learn about how the next Internet evolution would shape their careers and the sectors they work within.

Maria Balbas, president at elev8 and executive vice-president of YNV Tech Talent, affirmed the metaverse webinar’s success.
