QATAR Environment Day celebrations organised by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) concluded at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) in Doha on Tuesday.
The awareness tent of the PR and Communication Department at the ministry received 60 female students from Al Khwarizmi Independent Kindergarten for Girls on the final day of the three-day event. The MME team presented competitions and environmental workshops to mark the occasion.
Moreover, the Environment Monitoring Department team at the tent told visitors about the functioning of different units of the department.
The Cleanness Section of the Services Affairs Department at Al Daayen Municipality lifted seven abandoned vehicles and handled 303 electronic requests for insects and rodents control service and 829 requests for sewage vehicles. (TNN)
