Under the patronage and presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed AI Attiyah and the presence of HE Lt Gen (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, Qatar Amiri Naval Forces inaugurated coastal defence project at the Naval base at (Umm Al Houl).
The inauguration was attended by HE Maj Gen (Sea) Abdullah his Hassan Al Sulaiti, Qatar Amiri Naval Forces Commander, HE Jean-Baptiste Faivre, Ambassador of the Republic of France to the State of Qatar, HE Paolo Toschi, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to the State of Qatar, and a number of senior QAF commanding officers.
