The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) will conclude the activities of the 11th edition of the Halal Qatar Festival today, Friday, February 24.
The last day of the festival, which started on February 16, and its accompanying events, will witness the conclusion of the competitions of the Mazayen competition category.
School students continued to visit the festival, which offers, through its various activities, an opportunity to acquire new knowledge by learning about the types of halal and the traditional crafts associated with it. The accompanying activities are also among the most prominent events that the Qatar Halal Festival administration is keen to provide for visitors, especially children.
Among these activities are various workshops for children and the event of horse and camel riding.
The festival site includes a heritage tent for traditional industries and handicrafts related to sheep and goat products, such as sadu, and a display of traditional clothes, in addition to the presence of a number of shops, including shops for various popular foods produced by Qatari families, and others that display traditional products.
