The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has issued a prepaid “family expenses card’ within the framework of facilitating the procedures for beneficiaries to obtain family expenses.
The move aims to simplify procedures and facilitate the beneficiaries’ access to the amounts allocated to them.
The ‘family expenses card’ is a prepaid bank card issued by the Supreme Judicial Council’s “Securities Department” for beneficiaries of family expenses, in coordination with the Qatar Central Bank and Qatar Islamic Bank.
The card enables its owner to withdraw the amount deposited for him by the courts’ secretariats or use it for direct purchase through points of sale .
The card will be filled through the family trusts account of the Supreme Judicial Council in Qatar Islamic Bank, and then it can be used without any obstacles or difficulties, saving time and effort for the beneficiary.
The card has all the advantages of the “Himyan” card issued by the Qatar Central Bank, and it is obtained after submitting an application to manage the court trusts.It is granted to the beneficiary within a maximum period of 3 working days.
The card has a validity period of five years from the date of its issuance.
It also comes in compliance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia and is safe through the smart chip.
