His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met separately this with a number of heads of state and government, and heads of delegations of brotherly and friendly countries participating in the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), at Qatar National Convention Center on Sunday.
HH the Amir met President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Republic of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Republic of the Sudan Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, President of the Republic of Burundi Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Slovenia Natasha Burke-Mussar, and President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.
HH the Amir also met Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Dr Abiy Ahmed Ali, HE Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina Wazed.
During the meetings, they discussed the cooperation relations between Qatar and their countries and prospects for enhancing them, in addition to the topics on the conference agenda.
The meetings were attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chief of Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and a number of senior officials.
