Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met with a number of foreign officials, on the sidelines of the Fifth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), in Doha on Sunday.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah.

During the meeting, they discussed the relations between the two countries and the two peoples, and ways to enhance them, in addition to the situation in Iraq and Syria, and the latest developments in the Iranian nuclear file talks.

The FM also met with Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Alexander Schallenberg and discussed bilateral relations and means to bolster them, in addition to the latest developments in Iran nuclear talks, the developments in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and a host of regional and international issues.

The FM also held a talk session with Minister of International Development of Canada Harjit Sajjan on development cooperation and partnerships between the two countries, and ways to develop them, in addition to international efforts to provide aid to Turkiye and Syria after the earthquake disaster, and developments in Afghanistan.
