Shangri-La Hotel, has unveiled the new 'Al Khaima', the hotel's inimitable blend of Asian and Arabian influences to host daily Iftar and Suhoor meals in an exquisite Arabic theme during the holy month of Ramadan. The concept is inspired by the traditional Bedouin tents which have been an icon of hospitality in the Arabic culture for many centuries.
Al Khaima is a unique dining experience offering an impressive line of live cooking stations, such as shawerma and saj, sushi, dim sum and a veritable abundance of delectable sweets, including a chocolate fountain for those feeling indulgent, exciting varieties of popcorn and ice-cream and a range of Arabic dessert and fresh fruits. The tent will be open from June 9 up until the end of Ramadan.

Iftar is priced at QR 230 per person, which includes a full buffet, juices, soft drinks, coffee and tea. For sohour, a bespoke a la carte option is available with a minimum spend of QR 80 per person. Special prices are offered for groups and private events of 20 people or more. Numerous seating options, including VIP gazebos, are available to accommodate all needs.
Sridan, the hotel's souq-themed buffet restaurant, will remain open as usual during Ramadan and continue to offer the best value for money and customary excellence. The dinner buffet at Sridan is priced at QR 129 per person.
