Under the auspices of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the National Cyber Security Agency launched a cybersecurity educational curriculum, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The launch ceremony was attended by Minister of Education and Higher Education HE Buthaina bint Ali Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology HE Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, and Head of the National Cyber Security Agency HE Eng. Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Maliki, in addition to a number of ministers, undersecretaries, senior officials, and state officials and a number of officials in brotherly and friendly countries.

Al Maliki said this project comes within the framework of the agency's keenness to enhance awareness of cybersecurity risks, based on its vision of building a safe cyber society, in which all segments have sufficient awareness to face challenges.

He noted that the partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education has resulted in this pioneering national project, which is the first of its kind in the region, in terms of targeting students in the school environment, and directing it to each age stage with content commensurate with the degree of awareness. And the awareness she enjoys, in addition to the orientation for people with special needs, parallel education and literacy, to ensure the dissemination of cyber awareness in the entire society.

He stressed that the project includes the launch of an electronic platform that includes all the information and knowledge products related to the project, to be available to students at any time, pointing out at the same time, that the educational cybersecurity curricula are characterized by the fact that they will be presented in a smooth and enjoyable framework, which consolidates the information in the recipient, and makes him search for more.

The ceremony included the launch of an electronic platform that includes all educational material and visual content related to the curricula, in addition to presenting introductory videos about the project, honoring the work team that contributed to the implementation of this project, which is the first of its kind in the region, as well as visiting an exhibition that was held in parallel with the activities of launching the platform.
