Assistant Foreign Minister HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with Representative of the World Food Program (WFP) in Yemen, on the sidelines of the 5th United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), in Doha on Monday. During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Yemen, ways to enhance cooperation in development projects and Qatar’s support of the people in Yemen. The Assistant Foreign Minister also met with Permanent Representative of Canada to the United Nations Robert Rae. They discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the latest developments in Palestine as well as developments in Afghanistan, especially the rights of women and girls to education.
