QNA New YorkMinister of Social Development and Family HE Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met separately with Mauritanian Minister of Social Action, Children and Family Savia Mint N’Tahah, Permanent Representative of Bulgaria to the United Nations Lachezara Stoeva, and President of the International Disability Alliance (IDA) Yannis Vardakastanis, on the sidelines of their participation in the 15th session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities CRPD (COSP15). The session was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, the US.During the meetings, they reviewed aspects and opportunities for joint cooperation between Qatar and the parties concerned in the field of developing services provided to persons with disabilities and the ways to enhance them through technical, skill and economic empowerment. They also discussed topics on the agenda of the 15th session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities as well as coordination of positions on research issues and perceptions of draft resolutions and relevant concluding recommendations.
