Pakistan Engineers Forum-Qatar (PEF-Q) organised a seminar titled ‘Developing Powerful Habits — An Islamic Perspective’, at The Next Generation School, Al Wakra campus.
The seminar, which delved into personal development, was conducted by Amir Hussain Khadim, a corporate leader and renowned life coach of Qatar who specialises in mind-set, goal-setting and accountability coaching.
Welcoming the gathering, Fahad Ismail highlighted the importance of continued personal development in creating a growth mind-set among individuals and societies. A number of Pakistani engineers and professionals participated in the seminar and they were impressed with the thought-provoking discussions on personal development, creating a winning mind-set and powerful new habits.
Khadim said he draws his inspiration from the Islamic principle of ‘Ihsan’, the pursuit of excellence, and compared it with modern management and psychological concepts.
He stressed the need to challenge oneself, create a positive mind-set, and strive for excellence in everything one does. He thanked the participants for their attention and engagement throughout the session.
PEF-Q President Riyaz Ahmed Bakali thanked the speaker and guests for creating an excellent learning environment. He praised the volunteers for managing another successful event.
PEF-Q event coordinator Syed Faiz Shah concluded the seminar by expressing his resolve to host more such events in future and make his forum the best platform for Pakistani professionals to network, grow and serve the community.
