The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has said that country is likely to witness rain from Thursday.
In a tweet, the QMD said, “It is expected that the amounts of clouds will increase in the country's atmosphere, starting from Thursday, and during the weekend, chances of rain of varying intensity, which may be thundery in some areas and sudden strong winds at times.”
The QMD has called on everyone to be cautious and follow the safety guidelines during thunderstorms.
