President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Istanbul on Saturday.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Thani conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Erdogan, wishing the Turkish people further progress and prosperity.
For his part, the Turkish president entrusted the Deputy PM with conveying his greetings to HH the Amir. Erdogan wished HH the Amir health and happiness and the Qatari people continued development and prosperity.
The meeting dealt with reviewing bilateral cooperation and the latest developments in the region, particularly in Syria and Libya.
