Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has said that Qatar appreciates the importance of continuous coordination between brothers on various issues of concern to Arab people.
In a tweet, the PM said, “Participated with my colleagues in the ministerial consultative meeting between the GCC, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq in Jeddah. We appreciate our continuous efforts on various issues of concern to our people. Thanks to our brothers in the Kingdom for their invitation and generous hosting.”
Qatar participated in the Consultative Ministerial Meeting of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Republic of Iraq in Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah.
The delegation of Qatar was headed by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on a number of issues and developments in the region.
The centrality of the Palestinian cause and its priority were emphasized, and the illegal Israeli practices that undermine the two-state solution, in addition to the Israeli attacks on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the violation of the sanctity of the holy places were condemned. They also consulted and exchanged views on the efforts made to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis that puts an end to the suffering of the Syrian people, addresses all its repercussions, and preserves the unity of the Syrian soil.
