The Arabic and Islamic Studies Department at Olive International School (OIS) organised ‘Qur’an Recitation Competition’ on April 16, with aim to encourage students to practise religious harmony and follow the Almighty’s path, during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
OIS Principal Jacob Mathew, along with the leadership team of the school, encouraged the students to deliver their best keeping excellence in mind.
“The competition was part of the school’s efforts to promote co-curricular activities in the school to facilitate the development of student’s personality and
various domains of their mind, such as intellectual, emotional, social, moral and aesthetic. Moreover, creativity, enthusiasm and positive thinking are some of the facets of personality development and the outcome of extracurricular activities,” said a press statement from the school.
