Doha: The Eid festival in Lusail was a huge success, attracting over 500,000 visitors to enjoy the festivities. Due to popular demand, the Festival, which was supposed to end on Monday, has been extended until Friday.

The Eid holiday commemorates the end of Ramadan, a time of joy and celebration, and the Lusail festival has not been an exception. With a wonderful procession that includes heritage shows, carnival performances, international street art, and other events, the Festival has showcased the best of Qatari culture.

The procession has been one of the Festival's highlights, with a colourful display of traditional costumes. The procession was led by traditional drummers who played their instruments enthusiastically. And it also featured a group of dancers performing traditional Qatari dances.

Visitors have also enjoyed the carnival performances, which have featured various acts such as acrobats, clowns, and jugglers. The carnival has been a riot of colour and sound, with performers uniting to entertain the crowds. International street art has also played an important role in the Festival, with artists collaborating to create stunning works of art. The street art has served as a celebration of Qatar's diverse cultures, a collaboration to create something truly one of a kind.

Heritage has also played a role in the Festival, with events such as camel rides, falconry, and traditional Qatari sports. The traditional festivities have been a big hit with locals, residents and tourists as a great way for visitors to experience Qatar's traditional way of life. Other events at the Festival have included live music performances, food stalls, and children's activities.

The Festival has been a wonderful opportunity for families to get together and enjoy the festivities, with something for everyone and its extension until Thursday reflects that. The Festival celebrates Qatari culture and tradition, bringing people together to partake in the festivities.

There is still time to attend the Festival if you haven't already. The Festival will continue to provide various forms of entertainment and festivities until Friday.
