Qatar participated in the fourth meeting of the heads of the GCC supreme courts and courts of cassation with a delegation headed by President of the Cassation Court and Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council HE Masoud Mohamed al Amri.
The two-day meeting, which concluded in Manama on Thursday, discussed several issues, including follow-up report on the implementation of the plan for the GCC supreme courts and courts of cassation, training judges of the GCC supreme courts and courts of cassation, launching the website of the supreme courts and courts of cassation, among others.
The meeting also discussed visiting a number of supreme courts with different judicial systems in other countries and agreed on holding workshops on topics that facilitate litigation procedures and contribute to expedite the adjudication of disputes.
