Ambassador of Qatar to Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg HE Khalid bin Fahd Al Hajri has affirmed the need to strengthen the Palestinian economy and build the institutions of the Palestinian state in a way that does not dispense with the political elements of a permanent, just and comprehensive settlement based on the two-state solution. Ambassador Hajri was speaking at the meeting of the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee for Coordination of International Aid to the Palestinian People (AHLC), which was held in Brussels and hosted by Norway and the European External Action Service (EEAS).
He also called for a solution to final status issues through negotiation and in accordance with Security Council resolutions, the Road Map for Peace and the Arab Peace Initiative.
During the meeting, important financial and technical issues were discussed, in the presence of several countries and relevant international organisations.
