His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday arrived in Kigali to participate in the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting, being held in the Republic of Rwanda. His Highness and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Kigali International Airport by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Dr Vincent Biruta, Ambassador of Qatar to Rwanda HE Misfer Faisal Al Shahwani, and members of the Qatari Embassy. HH the Amir is accompanied by an official delegation. HH the Amir’s visit came at the invitation of President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame to participate in the Commonwealth meeting, held at Kigali Convention Center from June 23-24. (QNA)
