His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HH Consort of HH the Amir Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani participated in the coronation ceremony of HM King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, held at Westminster Abbey, London on Saturday.
A number of heads of states and governments along with senior officials from the UK and around the world also participated in the ceremony.
In a tweet, HH the Amir said, “I was pleased to attend the coronation ceremony of His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom, for whom we hope for further progress and prosperity during his reign. During my visit, I discussed with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak ways to strengthen our strong historical relations, and the situation in our region and the world, and we stressed the need to find peaceful solutions to all conflicts.”
