Doka held Safety Day recently under the patronage of Lusail Real Estate Development Company (LREDC) HSEQ Director Waleed al Khal Fakhroo and with the support of Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company HSE Advisor Mark Stephens.
The event included a combination of speeches, presentations and practical demonstrations that focused on the occupational health, safety, environment and fire prevention aspects of the Lusail City Development Project.
Doka Qatar WLL Managing Director Harald Hartung said:"Doka has always prioritised safety on site. As a company we believe that working safely is an essential ingredient to completing the task at hand both quickly and efficiently. We decided to hold an event which would allow LREDC to fully understand what we offer and provide industry stakeholders an opportunity to see first-hand how our products and systems have been designed to offer maximum protection for all site staff.
"The inspiration behind the joint 'Safety with Doka' event was to share our conviction, based on decades of international experience, that working in a safe environment means working fast and efficiently."
More than 260 people from over 75 organisations participated in the event.
