Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani praised the Build Your House Exhibition (BYH 23), noting that it offers a good opportunity for all citizens to communicate with several specialized building companies that showcase their services in the field of construction and interior design.
In a statement on the sidelines of the opening ceremony at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), Sheikh Khalifa said the expo provides a platform for local companies to strengthen their development and growth in the local market, and exchange experience and services with participating companies, especially since there are many exhibitors from other countries participating in the expo.
He also stressed that the Chamber’s support for the exhibition as an official sponsor stemmed from its interest to support the exhibition industry in the country and the Qatari private sector in general, noting that it also reflected its importance in showcasing the latest developments and innovations in the housebuilding field.
The exhibition contributes to enhancing the construction sector in Qatar, which has achieved great strides, especially before the World Cup, he said adding that the sector is likely to witness steady growth in line with the state’s efforts to accomplish the Qatar National Vision 2030 and its related mega projects, in addition to economic expansion in various sectors.
QC Chairman pointed out that the BYH expo displays a variety of services and products that are presented by a number of consultants, contractors and suppliers in the construction sector and in building houses in particular, assuring that it enhances communication and cooperation between local and foreign companies from one hand and between suppliers and contractors from the other hand.
