SAK Holding Chairman Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah al Thani received the Ecosystems Innovation Award at the 2017 Construction Business News Awards Ceremony in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the country's economy.
He was also recognised for launching initiatives like 'Sharkena' that had a significant impact on the real estate sector.
The award ceremony was held under the patronage of Qatar Chamber. SAK Trading & Contracting Company General Manager Engineer Ahmed El-Sayed accepted the ecosystems innovation award on behalf of SAK Holding Group from Qatar Chamber Vice-Chairman Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Towar al Kuwari.
A number of leading companies from Qatar and the region were also honoured at the ceremony. The event was also attended by prominent real estate leaders, investors and businessmen.
Speaking on the occasion, Sayed said,"SAK Holding Group adopts the legacy of the real estate values for more than five decades. The award recognises the success of the 'Sharkena' initiative, which was co-sponsored and promoted by many of Qatar's major projects."
