Minister of Municipality HE Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie met with a number of US city mayors on the sidelines of their participation in the Qatar Economic Forum, which concluded in Doha on Thursday.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Municipality and US cities in areas of common interest and ways to enhance them, especially those related to smart cities, developing infrastructure and municipal services, in light of the success that Qatar achieved in all fields while hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The meeting included the mayors of Dallas and Fort Worth, the State of Texas; Tampa, the State of Florida; Rochester Hills, the State of Michigan; and Mountain Home, the State of Idaho.
