Bid to smuggle in marijuana foiled at HIA

The Customs Administration at Hamad International Airport has foiled the smuggling of 10.466 kg of marijuana, the General Directorate of Customs, tweeted. The narcotic substance was seized after a Customs inspector grew suspicious about a passenger’s bag. Upon checking the bag, the inspector found three packages wrapped in a secret way, containing the narcotic substance, the tweet explained. (TNN)
