Olive International School kicks off annual festival

Tribune News NetworkDohaOlive Fest, one of the highlights of Olive International School’s annual calendar, began this year on June 26. Continuing the tradition of the last eight years, all the primary, secondary and senior secondary campuses are participating in the festival this year too with great zeal and enthusiasm. The festival commenced with a grand inauguration by celebrity guests Ahmed Alsabith and Shaly Antony along with Principal Jacob Mathew and other members of the school’s senior leadership team.Ahmad Alsabith is Amrita TV Superstar Junior winner of 2006, Vijay is TV Super Singer 2011 finalist, Mailanchi Asianet 2012 runner up. Shaly Antony is a musician and trainer by profession and passion. He has certified for 8th grade Trinity College, London and has performed many live shows in different parts of the world. Olive Fest is a blend of different cultural and personality enhancement programmes. It was conducted under the guidance of vice principal operations Anupama Sajith, activity coordinators, house masters and teachers. The festival plays a significant role in the holistic development of students as individuals and as members of a team. The fest will continue for three days and on the day of closing, the best house will be awarded with the championship trophy. Olive International School provides a wide platform to the children to showcase their talents.
