Al Markhiya sports club launched their new logo at a ceremony held at Ezdan Palace Hotel on Tuesday evening in the presence of Ali Al Musifri, the club’s president, Eng. Khaled Al Kubaisi, the club’s vice-president, Misfer Al Musifri, the club’s general manager, members of the technical and administrative staff and a large number of club members.
The ceremony was presented by Abdul Mohsen Al Ruwaili, media officer of the club, who welcomed the attendees and talked about the new winning logo as the best logo after sorting out its design competition, where its designer, Mrs. Fatima Al Nuaimi won as the best logo.
Ali Al Musifri, the club’s president, said: "We are pleased with your presence at the inauguration ceremony of the new logo for our club, which coincides with the many successes that have been achieved this season, represented in the survival of the team in the first class as a natural extension of its rise last season, to In addition to our team winning the Reserve League with impressive results, as the league was decided two rounds before its end, our team (U-15 years) also won the Junior League shield, and our team won second place in the Youth League.”
Musfer Al Musaifri, said: "As we launch the new logo of Al Markhiya Club, we pay tribute to all those who contributed to the club’s achievements in the past season, and we thank them for the appreciated efforts they made, the management and technical and medical equipment in the first team, the reserve team and the junior teams.”
For his part, Talal Ali, the captain of the team, said, "On behalf of the players, I would like to thank the board of directors represented by Ali bin Hamad Al Musaifari for the unlimited support throughout the season. And a new look commensurate with our new slogan and to meet your aspirations in the coming period”
Fatima Al Nuaimi, the designer of the new logo, said, expressing her thanks to everyone who contributed to the logo design competition. She said that the new logo embodies modernity, but that it contains elements of our traditions to embody values, sportsmanship and a vision for the future, and this is in line with the Qatar Vision 2030.
She added: "The logo includes the ‘oryx deer’, the shield and the horns of the oryx that go beyond the shield. The burgundy color was chosen to symbolize Qatar, while the golden color symbolizes originality.. the oryx deer represents strength, speed and elegance, symbolizing the excellence and excellence that Al Markhiya Club seeks to achieve in its various fields.”
