The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), in cooperation with the Embassy of Spain, held an interesting artistic show at the Opera House Building 16, titled ‘Flamenco Performance and Guitar Playing’ with Anabel Veloso.
The event was attended by Saif Al Dosari, deputy general manager of Katara and human resources department manager, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain HE Javier Carbajosa Sanchez, many ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions, and a wide audience of different nationalities.
His Excellency Javier Carbajosa Sanchez expressed his happiness with this event, which confirms the great cooperation between the Embassy of Spain and the Cultural Village Foundation Katara on many occasions, including this remarkable artistic show that sheds light on flamenco music, which is considered one of the typical cultural and artistic signs of his country.
He also touched on the cultural and artistic richness of his country, natural beauty, and a rich historical heritage that made it an exceptional tourist destination. Indicating the long-standing relations between Spain and Qatar, and the Arab and Islamic world. Pointing out the importance of building relations through culture and the arts. The international artist Anabel Veloso is considered one of the most prominent creators in this fine art, and she began her artistic life as a model, then she joined the Flamenco School (Amore de Dios) and presented many successful international performances in many festivals and won international art awards.
