Qatar Rail has announced on Saturday a temporary closure of the Doha Metro services during Fridays and during Eid Holidays.
Where Doha Metro services will be suspended on Fridays between 9th July and 13th August, and during the Eid holidays between 21st and 24th of July.
The closure comes due to an essential system upgrade across the network. The upgrade will allow to increase the network capacity, allowing more trains to operate and providing more frequent services to customers in the future.
In order to minimize the inconvenience to our customers we have chosen dates that historically carry the fewest passengers.
